DAF were responsible turning me into hard Electronics when I saw them live as a young teenager at Philipshalle Düsseldorf early 80s. Blueprint for EBM and most prominently translated by early Nitzer Ebb. Back then until today I think Gabi and Robert were the most sexy duo of the 80s. Gabi‘s cold voice over Robert’s harsh beats still gives me shivers. I did‘t follow their re-union from the early Noughties. Their first comeback show at Casino Berlin was a straight disappointment, proving my rule not to go and see bands I‘ve seen in their best days. However, DAF remained my all-time EBM heroes. Very sad to hear that Gabi‘s voice is now silent forever. Als wär‘s das letzte Mal. My DAF song for eternity.... 

This Is The End

2019 is coming to an end, the decade is coming to an end and an era as well. People phantasize the 2020's will become the next 1920s. But the future is in fact dystopian. Hate, anger, oppressionare on the rise and my personal view is not very positive. Here's the final mix, looking back and into a dark future. Grim, gritty, bouncing. Recorded without solid monitoring, so please excuse some glitches.

It's a Cabaret Bizarre

Cabaret Bizarre has been a long standing vaudeville show in Swintzerland, fueled with amazing artists from all over the world and some edgy music, far away from roaring 1920s clichés.

This April, 5th and 6th you have the rare chance to catch the Cabaret Bizarre in 21st century "Babylon" Berlin at the amazing, classic Ballhaus Berlin. An on the 6th, are rare DJ set from me, spinning some nasty Electro.

News from the Front

Been a while since I added some news in here. Not much to tell, but here's a compilation I recently digged. If you've ever been able to visit Hamburgs notorious (gay) club Front, you should spend some €€€ here. Amazingly compiled Mix CD (seperate tracks on two vinyl editions) by Klaus Stockhausen and Boris Dlugosch. I haven't bought a Club CD for a while since I own or know most of the tracks. But here's some real gems from a bunch of artists I haven't heard of yet or almost forgot about, reminding me of the Horse Meat Disco series, but more housey. Some pure Disco/House pleasure reminding me of times, when people just danced crazy and not hopping from one foot to another, facing the DJ for a whole night. Plus touching liner notes and really intimate photo coverage. My legacy compilation of the year.

After a crazy 2017, I am happy to kick off 2018 wirth one of my favorite Berlin parties. GEGEN ist turning 7 - and I've been following their whole journey from the beginning at MIKZ to their now best location KITKAT club. For their 7th anniversary a large bunch of my favorite acts will play, such as JK Flush, Hanno from Killekill, Warbear and so on. Plus, I will host the bear cave with some kinky Electro/Disco sweatiness. Get naked and see you this Friday, 5th January from midnight until eternity.
