Als wärs das letzte Mal...

 

DAF were responsible turning me into hard Electronics when I saw them live as a young teenager at Philipshalle Düsseldorf early 80s. Blueprint for EBM and most prominently translated by early Nitzer Ebb. Back then until today I think Gabi and Robert were the most sexy duo of the 80s. Gabi‘s cold voice over Robert’s harsh beats still gives me shivers. I did‘t follow their re-union from the early Noughties. Their first comeback show at Casino Berlin was a straight disappointment, proving my rule not to go and see bands I‘ve seen in their best days. However, DAF remained my all-time EBM heroes. Very sad to hear that Gabi‘s voice is now silent forever. Als wär‘s das letzte Mal. My DAF song for eternity.... 

Alle Gegen Alle

I wasn't much inspired the past motnhs posting new mixes. During this time I had the feeling both, the real world and the safe harbour - the club world were going crazy. Things changed drastically in so many ways and it is not over. At least I found my peace with club life. Luckily I live in Berlin and it is indeed still a safe harbour. Hoping it will stay like this, I was going through a bunch of older and new vinyls and hit the record button through this bumpy session. Enjoy:
