Well, if you thought good ole Burlesque kinda Voodoo Beat can´t be reinvented in modern music, you haven´t heard Jessie Evans yet. Former The Vanishing singer presented her new project with her partner and former Iggy Pop drummer Toby Dammit at Berlin´s sold out SO36 Club in Kreuzberg. An amazing mixture of Toby´s skillfull drumming and percussion and Jessie´s cold 80´s voice and her gunting saxophone equals some wild Hypnotease. Imagine ESG meet Les Baxter in a Berlin 1920´s cabaret. Simply amazing!
